Mobilizing the Public Sector for Green Growth in Northern Nordic Peripheries - InPro

Project 2025 Active

The initiative will prepare for a full-scale program (2026–2030) by:

  • Developing a strategy to use public procurement for green transition and SME involvement.
  • Forming a cross-Nordic consortium, including Sweden, Norway, and Iceland, focused on public sector leadership.
  • Adapting and coordinating proven innovation procurement frameworks and methods for the Nordic context.
  • Outlining pilot projects and measurable impacts for Step 2, aligned with Nordic Vision 2030.

By the end of Step 1 (Sep–Nov 2025), the project will deliver a validated strategy, a concrete plan for pilots, a committed consortium, and tailored tools for rural innovation procurement.
