The focus in this program is two-fold. One part of the program focuses on internationalization of Nordic companies and scaling of Nordic sustainable solutions internationally. The other part focuses on accelerating access to private and public capital for Nordic sustainable solutions that are ready to be introduced on international markets.

Nordic cooperation is essential for building sustainable value chains. By bringing together companies, researchers, and innovators, joint solutions are created that enhance the Nordic region’s global competitiveness. Efforts include pilot projects, analyses, and knowledge exchange where best practices are shared across sectors. The Nordic home market can be used to scale, test, and accelerate technologies and solutions. It is also important to collaborate with international ecosystems to position the Nordic region as a leading hub for innovation and sustainable development.
Attract capital for sustainable growth
Financing is crucial for turning ideas into reality and scaling up innovations. The Nordic region has the potential to become a leader in mobilizing private capital through improved collaboration between public and private actors. The work focuses on identifying and overcoming barriers for companies at different stages of growth, from startup to expansion. By strengthening the financing system, building networks, and highlighting the region’s innovation capacity and sustainability, the Nordics can attract international investments and solidify their position as a magnet for capital and talent.
Promote Nordic solutions globally
The Nordic region is known for innovation and sustainability, but greater collaboration is needed to strengthen its international position. The goal is to create new opportunities for Nordic companies to grow globally and contribute to the transition toward sustainable societies. By showcasing our solutions at key events and developing joint initiatives, we can raise awareness of the region’s strengths and help more companies establish themselves in new markets.
