Nordic Innovation is supporting a new project with the aim to push the Nordic Digital Health platform and the Nordic Digital Health Evaluation Criteria (NordDEC).
An evaluation panel consisting of 3-5 Nordic experts in the field will select the best five Nordic health apps, one from each Nordic country. The five companies making the apps will win support to ensure that their apps are good enough to get a Nordic certification and will then get certified using the Nordic Digital Health Evaluation Criteria (NordDEC).
Among those five Nordic health apps, and assuming time permits, the best app will get the chance to be promoted at the political festival in Norway as a part of Nordic Innovations health program event there.

The project will be developed in collaboration with N!P (The Nordic Interoperability Project).
Background
The project is financed under the Life Science and Health Tech program which is one of the eight initiatives launched by the five Nordic Ministers of Trade and Industry. The aim of the program is to strengthen the Nordic companies' opportunities in the field of life science and health technology to create societal benefit and new products and solutions for the citizens.
