Nordic Meetup SF Tech Week

Project 2026
Nordic Growth & Capital Attraction Active

It also seeks to increase the collective Nordic presence during San Francisco Tech Week. The project will bring together approximately 40–50 Nordic companies and around 200 participants, facilitate direct meetings with U.S. investors and corporate stakeholders, and contribute to capital raising, market access,
and international business opportunities. The goal is to secure 300+ relevant introductions.

Background

Several Nordic organizations initially planned separate activities during SF Tech Week. Through Nordic Meetup, companies, networks, and resources are instead being coordinated into a joint Nordic event.

The initiative is organized by the Green Transition Initiative/Business Sweden in collaboration with Nordic Innovation House, Innovation Norway, Business Finland, Innovation Center Denmark, and other relevant Nordic stakeholders. The Nordic added value lies primarily in greater critical mass vis-à-vis American investors, a unified Nordic positioning, and more efficient use of networks and resources.

This initiative is well aligned with Nordic Innovation’s work in Growth & Capital Attraction and its ambition to strengthen Nordic companies’ international growth and capital attraction.
