Sindre Bornstein TechArena

Connecting Across the Nordic Tech Scene

How is Sweden becoming an AI first nation? That was the central theme of the side-session. Yet Sindre Bornstein brought a broader Nordic Perspective, emphasizing how regional collaboration can accelerate competitiveness, resilience and responsible adoption of emerging technologies.

Sindre Bornstein said that the Nordic countries have a unique opportunity to act together:
“The question is how the Nordics can become a tech-first region”. He also pointed to the energy at Techarena and the active and innovative Swedish ecosystem. But also, the importance of Nordic collaboration, and initiatives such as the New Nordics AI center and the joint Nordic delegation to GTC NVIDIA this year as examples of how the region can strengthen its global position. He also aimed out the importance of a Nordic narrative in a new global context.

The session was organized by Swenode.AI, Dell Technologies and NVIDIA and gathered two fast-scaling Swedish AI companies, Legora and Tzafon, who demonstrated how AI is already moving beyond experimentation and delivering real impact across critical industries and global markets.

“We believe it is important to participate in leading tech events because they keep us closely connected to the Nordic Innovation landscape. After TechArena in Stockholm, we plan to join Tonik in the Faroe Island, TechBBQ in Copenhagen and Slush in Helsinki during 2026. And we welcome invitations to speak at upcoming events” says Lena Henriksson Head of Communications at Nordic Innovation.
