76 applications received under Call for Project Proposals

Nordic Innovation will now go through the applications received under the call for project proposals. Project announcements will be made at the beginning of April, and the projects are expected to start by the end of April.

The Call for Project Proposals is the second step in a two-step call method introduced in 2025 with the aim of stimulating the development of new project ideas and fostering the creation of Nordic project consortia. The first step in the two-step call method was a pre-call launched in spring 2025. Nordic Innovation received 123 applications under the pre-call, and 20 projects were selected for funding of NOK 200.000 each.

Background

In 2025, Nordic Innovation launched new innovation programs for the years 2025-2027. As a part of this launch, a new call process was introduced to gather ideas and input for shaping two of the three programs: Innovative Solutions for 2030 and Nordic Forward: Resilience and Competitiveness for 2050. The two-step call process has been used in previous programs. However, this call was distinguished by its extensive scope and focus on strategic development.
