LOOP Forum - a business focused circular economy forum - takes place in Copenhagen on 28-29 April. This year, Nordic Innovation supports the forum as Core Partner. Besides hosting two sessions, Nordic Innovation will also bring together a group of Nordic and European actors at a shared exhibition area.
Circular funding opportunities
Is your company seeking funding to scale circular solutions? On the first day of LOOP Forum, the session Circular solutions and resource security – Funding and Investment landscape welcomes companies, startups, scaleups, cluster organizations and others to learn more about funding opportunities in the Nordics and in the EU.
The session will provide hands-on guidance on how to access and combine relevant funding instruments to develop and scale circular solutions and support resource security. You will also get a practical overview of Nordic and EU funding opportunities.
The session will have a particular focus on critical raw materials and circular solutions in material intensive value chains.
Following presentations and discussions on funding opportunities, the session turns the spotlight on the investment perspective and explores how circular business models can become investable. The session will be facilitated by the Nordic Innovation-supported initiative, Nordic Circular Investments.
The two sessions take place in the same side session room.
When: 28. April, 10:00-12:00

European and Nordic perspectives on resource security
As the green transition accelerates, new technologies scale and companies are facing growing pressure to secure stable access to raw materials, resource security is rapidly moving up on the agenda across the Nordics and the EU.
On the second day of LOOP Forum, the session EU, Nordic and Danish perspectives on resource security brings together leading voices from European, Nordic and Danish institutions, manufacturing companies and industry organizations to discuss how the resource security agenda is evolving, and what it means in practice for industrial value chains and business strategy.
The session will explore how Europe’s ambitions around strategic autonomy and industrial policy are shaping new approaches to materials, production and supply chains. From the EU’s Critical Raw Materials strategy to Nordic collaboration and industrial initiatives, the session will examine how policymakers and companies can work together to build stronger and more resilient value chains.
When: 29 April, 10:00-10:45

Meet the funding institutions
In addition to the session program, LOOP Forum features an exhibition area where companies and organizations can showcase their circular solutions, meet existing and new partners and learn from each other. Nordic Innovation will host a stand and invite Nordic and European funding institutions to participate in the exhibition.
Feel free to stop by the stand and speak with the institutions. It is located at the very beginning of the exhibition area, just after the entrance. Look for a large blue backdrop with the white Nordic swan logo.
