The call for preparatory projects to the EU co-funded Raw Materials Partnership (RAMP) will provide funding of approximately 24 Nordic projects.

The aim is to facilitate collaboration, support consortium-building and proposal preparation for the EU co-funded Raw Materials Partnership for the Green and Digital Transition (RAMP) and other similar calls under Horizon Europe and complementary programs.

“With this joint Nordic call, we will help strengthen collaboration between companies, research organizations and other stakeholders working on critical raw materials. By supporting the development of strong Nordic consortia and project ideas, we hope to position Nordic actors for opportunities in RAMP as well as other relevant European programs. This can help strengthen both innovation capacity and future competitiveness across the Nordic region,” says Benedicte Sognefest, Senior Advisor at Nordic Innovation.

The call remains open until the available grant funding of up to 24 600 000 NOK has been allocated, or until 14.06.2028 at the latest. Proposals may be submitted at any time during the call period.

About RAMP

The Raw Materials Partnership for the Green and Digital Transition (RAMP), launched in late 2025, will support research and innovation projects across the raw materials value chain over its 11-year lifespan. RAMP will facilitate seven annual transnational calls, aiming to fund well over 100 projects, and will complement Horizon Europe and other initiatives such as EIT RawMaterials. The partnership is coordinated by Vinnova (Sweden) and involves agencies representing all Nordic countries.
