Nordic Scaleup Awards is the first and only awards to focus on the scaleup sector, with a regional focus on the five Nordic countries. Nomination deadline is 15 April and the winner will be announced at the Nordic Scaleup Awards dinner on 1 June. Nordic scaleup companies can nominate themselves.

Nordic Scaleup Awards 2022 is open to all scaleup companies who fulfil the eligibility criteria and who can demonstrate best-of-class business performance. A modern Nordic scaleup company concentrates on more than just growth at any cost. A scaleup company that put an emphasis on sustainability, diverse and inclusive company culture and transition to a greener economy.   

The Nordic Scaleup Awards is free of charge to enter. Eligibility criteria:  

  • Company is registered in one of the Nordic countries 
  • Annual revenue at minimum of 2M€  
  • Personnel of at least 10 people 
  • Annual growth figures of at least 20% in the past 3 years. 

The company’s participation in the Award will get high-level recognition and exposure. The winner will be featured on the legendary Nasdaq Tower on Times Square in New York City!   A nomination will boost the company brand by positioning it alongside the very best of Scaleups in the Nordics. The nominees will be a central part of the biggest celebration of scaleups in the Nordics  taking place in Stockholm  on 1 June 2022. The event will provide the nominees great networking opportunities with peers, thought-leaders and leading entrepreneurs in the Nordics.

The Nordic Scaleup of the Year will be selected by a Nordic jury consisting of four seasoned entrepreneurs and investors: Lena Apler, Founder and Chairman of the Board Collector AB from Sweden, Anne-Louise Thon-Jensen, Partner and Founder of SDG Invest and Vår Ventures from Denmark, Javad Mushtaq, Impact Leader, Serial Social Entrepreneur and Early-Stage Investor from Norway and Mika Anttonen, Founder and President of the Board of St1 from Finland.

The winner will be a Nordic scaleup that besides reaching the criteria has excelled in growing their company and done so in an impactful and sustainable way. 

The Nordic Scaleup of the Year will be announced at the Nordic Scaleup Awards dinner that take place on 1 June from 17.00 - 21.30 at Stockholm Clarion Hotel, right after the Nordic Scaleup Summit .
