How do you set up and raise a fund?
VC Challenge (Venture Capital Challenge) is a training program providing emerging managers with professional guidance, learning and network on how to raise and manage a fund.
The program consists of 10 core sessions with topic-related presentations by investor experts from the venture capital ecosystem.
Application deadline: 31 January
Program start: 28 February
Participants will among other learn about:
- The venture capital ecosystem
- Fund types and structures
- How to set up an investment strategy
- Sourcing and deal-flow strategy
- Portfolio construction - modelling fund returns and due diligence
- Fund regulation and fund-raising strategy
- Fund tax
The program also includes personal feedback sessions where participants can receive input related to their own funds as well as side sessions that offer insight on more specific topics.

Who is this for?
The VC Challenge is relevant for private individuals aiming to set up a professional fund, managers of small VCs that want to work towards a larger fund, employees of companies interested in setting up a corporate venture or an impact investment arm, family offices that want learn about investment operations and finally community players such as incubators, accelerators and research institutions looking to build their first fund.
