The Nordic Scaleup Summit and Scaleup Awards is the first and only award dedicated to Nordic Scaleups. We received 44 nominations covering all the five Nordic countries and spanning across a wide range of industries , says Anna-Maija Sunnanmark from Nordic Innovation.
The Nordic Scaleup Summit and Scaleup Awards will take place at the Clarion Hotel, Stockholm from 13.00 – 21.00. The summit will look into success stories and highlight topics such as big tech, talent, and impact investing. Prominent entrepreneurs will share their experiences on how to scale a company successfully and participants will be able to share and learn from each other during networking breaks.

Winner of the Nordic Scaleup Awards 2022
The Scaleup Summit will be followed by the Nordic Scaleup Awards ceremony where the Nordic Scaleup of the Year 2022 will be announced. A total of 44 companies nominated themselves. The winner will be featured on the legendary Nasdag Tower on Times Square in New York City.

The Nordic Scaleup of the Year will be selected by a jury of entrepreneurs and investors. During the ceremony, members of the jury will also share their experiences, insights and knowledge about what is needed to build a tech success with a purpose.
The jury members are:
- Lena Apler, Founder and Chairman of the Board Collector AB, Sweden
- Anne-Louise Thon-Jensen, Partner and Founder of SDG Invest and Vår Ventures, Denmark
- Javad Mushtag, Impact Leader, Serial Entrepreneur and Early-Stage Investor, Norway
- Mika Anttonen, Founder and President of the Board of St1, Finland
To be considered the Nordic Scaleup of the Year, the company must be registered in one of the Nordic countries, have an annual revenue of at least 2 million euro, personnel of at least 10 people and it must be able to present annual growth figures of at least 20% over the past 3 years. A modern Nordic scaleup company concentrates on more than just growth at any cost but emphasizes also sustainability, diverse and inclusive company culture and transition to a greener economy.
The Nordic Scalers program is one of Nordic Innovations special initiatives. Nordic Innovation has the ambition to make the Nordic Region leading not only for start-ups but also for scaleups.
The term 'scaleup' refers to a small group of rapidly expanding companies which account for an above-average proportion of the economic growth.
The Nordic Scaleup Summit and Nordic Scaleup Awards is organized by Nordic Innovation and Dagens Industri.
