Saku Vuori, Director, Science and Innovations, Geological Survey of Finland will take part in the session and launch the report 'The Nordic Supply Potential of Critical Metals and Minerals for a Green Energy Transition 2.0'.

The report is supported by Nordic Innovation under the Sustainable Minerals program. It builds on the report from 2021 'The Nordic Supply Potential of Critical Metals and Minerals for a Green Energy Transition´, which explored the Nordic's potential as a sustainable supplier of the raw materials the world needs to become a low-carbon emission society. The new report will also include security matters such as defense technology needs.

The event is a part of the Nordic Day at Suomi Areena. The program is organised by Suomi Areena and the Nordic Council of Ministers. It explores how Nordic values and cooperation can address the key challenges of our time. From security and competitiveness to culture and education.
