Join us for the LOOP Forum workshop:
How to utilize circular data sharing to meet the demand of tomorrow
When: 30. April, 13.45-15.15
Where: LOOP Forum, TRANSFORMATION STAGE
Circular economy at scale can only be achieved through extensive collaboration across value chains and ecosystems. Successfully sharing data on resources, products, their usage, and location with a variety of partners throughout the value chain, is a key enabler for circularity – yet many companies struggle to establish the necessary capabilities.
This workshop is for companies who wish to learn more about:
- why data sharing is critical for circular economy and good for business
- what circular business models are supported by data sharing, and
- what capabilities are required for data sharing
After an introduction to the upcoming Nordic Data Sharing Playbook – a step-by-step business guide to data sharing, your company will get to test practical exercises from the playbook together with fellow Nordic businesses. You will learn how to utilize more effective data sharing in value chains to boost circular business development.
The session will present circular data sharing use cases, such as Resource Efficiency & Recovery, Digital Product Passports, and As-a-Service models from the playbook. Interactive small-group exercises will support participants in reflecting on how to apply these insights within their own organisations and how to get started with data sharing.
The programme will also feature a case presentation illustrating how Axfoundation, GS1, and Filippa K are piloting Digital Product Passports to support the circular transition in the fashion industry while creating tangible business value.
This session is relevant for a wide range of professionals, including sustainability practitioners, data and IT specialists, and business strategists. To get the most out of it, we recommend attending together with partners from your value chain – suppliers or customers with whom you are already sharing, or planning to share, data.
The Nordic Data Sharing Playbook summarizes the learnings and best practices from 48 companies that have participated in a 1-year accelerator program on data sharing for circularity. The purpose of the Playbook isto upskill and equip Nordic companies of all sizes to succeed with collaborating on data sharing. The Playbook will be launched in May 2025.
