Nordic Innovation House is a unique collaboration between the five Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) and Nordic Innovation, focused on assisting startups and growth companies with market entry and expansion. With funding from Nordic Innovation and the Nordic Council of Ministers, Nordic Innovation House brings exciting Nordic entrepreneurship and innovation, values, and the Nordic way of doing business to global markets.
We are also pleased to announce that Mr. Niklas Karvonen has been appointed Community Director at Nordic Innovation House Tokyo. Niklas will spearhead the establishment of operations and the Nordic Innovation House Tokyo community.
He joins us from Tokyo-based startup Code Chrysalis, where he worked as bootcamp marketing and community lead. Niklas has extensive experience with the Japanese startup ecosystem from working for local tech startups, as well as helping organize events such as SLUSH Tokyo and Junction.
Niklas graduated from Aalto University in Helsinki, majoring in international design business management.
