The winners of the Grand Nordic Health Hackathon by Nordic Innovation were just announced. After a long competition, the business idea HELFI could finally celebrate victory. As a bonus, the winning team will receive a prize of 10,000 euros.
Edda Konráðsdóttir, founder of Iceland Innovation Week, talks about how sharing health data in the Nordic region is key to participatory development of health solutions and why it’s important to include diverse skills and backgrounds in hackathons.
Cities and the data found within them will play a key role in solving health challenges of the future. Now, 20 Nordic cities have launched five agile pilot projects that use data to find innovative solutions to tackle health challenges for their citizens.
