The Ocean Biomass call resulted in contract with Interesting Times Gang to be the main partner to carry out the Kelpwood & Bioplastic project. Interesting Times Gang will, Together with a comprehensive consortium across Scandinavia, including OBOS, Nordic SeaFarm, MS Donna, Ocean Forest / Lerøy Seafood Group, Material Factor, Bioextrax and Studio Kathryn Larsen, Interesting Times Gang will create two revolutionary and interconnected biomaterials from Nordic Sugar Kelp and Pacific Oyster Shells.

Nordic circular solutions for nature and the economy at WCEF2023

30 May to 2 June Nordic Innovation co-hosted the World Circular Economy Forum, together with the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra. The theme of this year’s event was circular solutions for nature and the economy. With around 1800 participants on site in Helsinki and more than 6000 participants online from all around the world the event was a success.
