This spring, Nordic Edge China will bring together smart city professionals from two distinct regions for a two-day summit in Beijing, April 9-10, 2019. We welcome you to this international arena for Smart City knowledge exchange.
Nordic Edge China is the result of a clear desire to create a valuable meeting place for smart city players from both China and the Nordic countries. The event brings together speakers from political, academic and municipal leadership from both regions.
For Nordic visitors, the conference is an opportunity to showcase Nordic smart and sustainable city initiatives to Chinese authorities and business leaders eager to learn from the Nordic region. Through keynote talks and site visits Nordic delegations will gain first-hand knowledge and experience of Smart City initiatives on a large scale. The aim of Nordic Edge China is to foster long-term, mutually beneficial relations between the two regions.
Nordic Edge China is a Nordic-Chinese collaboration made possible in cooperation between NTNU, The World Green Design Organization, NordicFlexHouse, VTT, Demos Helsinki, Innovation Norway, Nordic Innovation and the Chinese Academy of Urban Planning and Design.
Following the conference visitors are invited to two different events:
- A tour of NingBo and Shanghai, organised by Nordic Edge and Innovation Norway.
- Visit to WuXi to dive deeper into the health track of Smart Cities, hosted by ENRICH
