 The Royal Danish Playhouse.

Construction of a new environmentally friendly playhouse partly located in the harbor basin of central Copenhagen.

In order to meet the challenging environmental ambitions a total energy concept was developed specifically for this building. The concept consists of reuse of the surplus heat from the theatre auditorium, natural ventilation in the foyer, thermal active slabs and the use of seawater from the harbour basin for cooling of the building.
